The Moto2 European Championship season will be closed this weekend at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit of Valencia in which the riders of the Moto2 category will compete in a single race.
The Promoracing team faces this race with the aim of remaining a benchmark in the Championship and wants to close it with the best possible results in a scenario in which Eric Granado clinched the victory in the first race of the year and Xavi Cardelús finished fourth in the second. The Brazilian arrives to this race occupying the fourth place in the provisional standings and the Andorran is the eighth classified.
Raul Jara, Team Manager of the Promoracing Team, talks about this last round of the Championship: “We arrived to Valencia with the highest possible expectations in this last race of the year and we hope to get the best possible results. Eric can be perfectly racing to repeat the win achieved here in the first race of the season and Xavi has always been comfortable in this track, so he can also add a good amount of points and have a good performance. This year we have demonstrated that we are a reference team in the category and we want to confirm it over the weekend. ”
Free practices will be played on Friday while Saturday will be held the two qualifying sessions that will define the composition of the starting grid of the Sunday race that will consist of 19 laps and will start at 12:00.
